Today, our class (St2′) visited the “Hellenic American Union“, because of the fact, that April is the month of poetry in the United States of America and that on the 21st of March is the world poetry day.
Firstly, we were welcomed by the librarians and then we watched a presentation about poetry and its different kinds. After that, the fun part came. We were given a task to create poems in groups of seven. The process of making our ideas was based on the idea of the person who wrote before us. At the end of this activity, when all the lines were completed, the teams announced the poems that were assembled by the lines. Finally, before we left, everyone got up and searched for a book that he/she liked and read it. In conclusion, it was a pleasant and educational visit.
